Get ready! In one month it is the start of the Lands' End Warehouse sale! You know you want to go! I'll meet you there! This was last years seen. I always am on the hunt for cashmere, sweaters and throws. I got a great leather satchel last year and a fabulous pair of heals. I can't wait for this years treasures.
Making these scarves was sooooo easy. Three Kool aid packets, water, vinegar and the microwave! The kids loved doing it so much, we ran back to the grocery store to get more Kool Aid for next weeks fun day.
This beautiful cutting board was given to me by S's teacher, as a thank you for my help this year. It was completely unnecessary, I gladly helped and felt lucky to be able to. Mrs. O saw me lusting after the donated board at the school auction, and knew I would like to have one of my own. She asked the parent who made it to make me one. Liz did a fabulous job, and I have it on my counter, where it is lovingly stroked and admired. I don't think I will ever be able to really cut on it. It's just too beautiful. Thank you Mrs. O and Liz!!! I will pass it down to S some day. If you feel the desire to have one of these boards, check out her company, Benson Wood Products.
