Cooking Class, part 1

This morning was spent teaching a friend to make Beef Bourguinon.

It was a blast!
Add a little brandy and set it on fire. I can't wait to hear what her family thinks of her creation.

Debt - Paid in Full

Well... I left a friend of mine alone with such a person.

Dinner with Friends

Tonight my friends and I had dinner at Sardine, www.sardinemadison.com. None of us had been there before, and we really enjoyed it. I had a cheese plate, yum, and a great ribeye. The others had salmon, which they all must have enjoyed because the plates were cleaned. For dessert I had a strawberry ice cream sandwich, all made from scratch and pure heaven. I am going to try to replicate this dessert, and I'll pst about how it turnd out. We choose the next night out, August 14, and restaurant, Harvest. It was nice spending time with just women. I think that is what I miss most about not working outside the home. These women are funny, smart and spunky. What isn't to like?!

Thank you R & K for all your help tonight. These amazing ladies gutted over 400 cherry tomatoes for tomorrow nights auction! We covered a lot of topics: weight loss, teenage sex, book clubs, jobs and lack of, new opportunities, many hours, countless topics. What a lucky girl I am, to have such wonderful friends, who come over and help with the grunt work, and do so happily.
