I set up our new tent yesterday, in the backyard, and the boys had a blast. They really wanted to sleep in it, so at 9pm, we went out there, they with their flashlights and lovies, me in my Lilly pj's, flashlight, and reading material. They slept soundly, as only a child can. Me? Not so much. But it was worth it, making them so happy.
Aren't you a good mom! We use to do that with our girls-my husband enjoyed it much more than I did!
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know about Eliza B. My youngest has a couple pair of flip flops, and I just ordered my eldest a key chain-FABULOUS company! Perfectly preppy!;)
How wonderful you'll be heading east to Boston! Oh, there are so many amazing places to go! The Public Gardens are a must-Swan Boats. The Frog Pond is a great place for kids to cool off and play-it's a wading pool with fountain. The frog statues are adorable! Charles Street is perfect for window shopping and eating! We love The Paramount (great for breakfast or dinner), Upper Crust Pizza (for a quick bite), 75 Chestnut (use to be fantastic, but has been under new ownership for a couple of years-same company that owns Cheers-not quite sure how it is now). For sweets, Panificio has yummy eclairs, and Cafe Vanille has all kinds of delicious french pastries. I could go on and on!!! Fenway Park, Newbury Street, Fanueil Hall (tourists LOVE it-food and shopping...), the New England Aquarium, the North End...it all depends on what you're looking for.
If I can be of any further help, please feel free ask!
